What changed?
Meta describes Muse as a personal agent that moves beyond answering questions to carrying out multi-step work. It can use a browser, fill forms and coordinate plans, while its US rollout covers iOS, Android and the web. Meta says access through AI glasses will follow.
The design puts connected accounts and delegated authority at the centre. Meta says every Muse runs inside a dedicated cloud virtual machine, with a separate Sentinel agent checking actions before they reach the internet. Users choose which services it can reach, and the product asks before actions such as sending email or making a purchase.
What should you keep in mind?
The security and privacy properties are Meta’s product claims and will need independent scrutiny as usage expands. The launch is also geographically limited: Meta says Muse is rolling out in the US, so the announcement does not establish global availability.
