What changed?
The September 9 release says the initial phase covers 15 African wallets connected to Xend. TerraPay describes access to Alipay+’s merchant network and an expansion from account transfers to in-store payments.
What should you keep in mind?
The network reach figures are company-reported. Participation does not establish that every wallet, merchant or destination is enabled immediately; users need to confirm support with their provider.
